SBI PO Eligibility

SBI (State Bank of India) PO (Probationary Officer) Eligibility Details.

Nationality: Candidate must be a Citizen of India.

Age: Candidates age must not be below 21 yrs and not above 30 yrs as on 1-4-19 i.e candidates or aspirants must have been born not later than 1-4-98 and not earlier than 2-4-89 (both days inclusive).

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit to Reserved category candidates:

(i) Three yrs in the case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

(ii) Five yrs in the case of: (a) ST / SC candidates. (b)Ex-servicemen (Including Emergency Commissioned Officers / Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have rendered at least 5 yrs continuous Military Service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 1 year) otherwise then by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or/ on account of physical disability (handicapped) or have been released / discharged on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service or on invalidment (c) Candidates who had been ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of the State of J&K between 1st January, 1980 and 31st December, 1989.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be graduated in any discipline from recognized Institution or University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt..

Note: Those who are in Final year / Semester of their Graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they have to produce proof of having passed the graduation exam. Aspirants having IDD (Integrated dual degree) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD.
