STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) is an autonomous Society setup by the Government of India, under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology in 1991 with an objective of boosting and promoting the Software Exports from India.
Software Technology Parks of India has been working with distinct focus for promotion of Information Technology/ITES exports from the country by providing single window services under Software Technology Parks and EHTP schemes, plug and play facilities for the start-up companies and young businessman as well as High Speed Data communication services for a seamless access for offshore Information Technology/ITES exports.
Govt. of India has established the Atal Innovation Mission, at NITI Aayog to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. The mission aims for Self-Development and self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) programme announced by the Government. The objective of this is to provide a platform for promotion of Grand Innovation Challenges, world-class Innovation Hubs, self-employment activities and other Start-up businesses and other particularly in technology driven areas.
Being a successful applicant of Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, as per guidelines of Atal Innovation Mission, STPI has created a organization “AIC STPINEXT INITIATIVES” under Section 8 of companies Act 2013. In-line with the objectives of Atal Innovation Mission, AIC STPINEXT INITIATIVES intends to create an ecosystem to nurture innovative new start-up businesses in their pursuit to become a scalable and sustainable enterprises under this. AIC Software Technology Parks of India NEXT INITIATIVES would focus on providing world class incubation facilities with suitable physical infrastructure in terms of capital equipment and operating facilities.
